DES MOINES, IOWA - The Iowa Firearms Coalition - a gun rights group - is again calling on state education officials to arm more staff members in schools to protect from the threat of an armed intruder. Family of Will Keeps release statement after shooting at Starts Right Here

DES MOINES, IOWA - The family of Will Keeps is releasing their first statement since he was shot and injured on Monday at the education that he founded. Keeps remains hospitalized with serious injuries after he was reportedly shot by 18-year-old Preston Walls. Two teens, Rashad Carr and Gionni Dameron , were killed in the shooting that police say was a targeted, gang-related incident.

Victims' names released in Des Moines education center shooting

DES MOINES, IOWA - The names of the two teenagers killed in a shooting at an education center in Des Moines are now being made public. Gionni Dameron, 18, and Rashad Carr, 16, were gunned down inside Starts Right Here just before 1:00 pm on Monday. The center offers alternative education to at-risk teens in Des Moines. Police say the shooting was gang-related.
